Hippopotamus for Christmas

My wife loves the Christmas novelty song "I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas" performed by Gayla Peevey in 1953 or otherwise known as that song from the Telus commercial.

So it is Christmas and I decided to do a study of the Hippopotamus.

Male hippos don't stop growing throughout their life and can reach a weight of 7,000 pounds and a length of 17 feet. Wow.

Merry Christmas

Here is my entry for Friday Illustration, I have until tonight to post it. The topic is Craving, so I kind of wanted a Tim Horton's coffee and donut.

Which monitor doesn't belong

Here is a drawing game I started, inspired by Sesame Street. It is the "Which one of these this doesn't belong" game. Which thing doesn't belong?

Cheers (part 1)

I received a cool gift for my birthday last month, six individual international beers. So on a hot day, like today, I can tour the world. Very cool. Here is the first beer I tried, it is called Raltika. It is a malt beer from Russia and it tasted really good, no hints of radiation. I kid... apparently it is brewed in St. Petersburg and is the most popular beer in Russia, at least that's what the label says. My wife says it tastes like Kingfisher, a beer from India.

I rate it as: 4 of 5.

"In Russia, beer drinks you." - Simpsons fans anyone. Alright then.

Sabretooth

Wolverine's arch enemy drawn for, you guessed it, another Penciljack sketch group. I like the sketch group, I just wish I could find a non-online one in town.

Stir fry Tuesday

Every Tuesday I make a stir fry. Today I made a mushroom chop suey and it looked so good that I took a picture. It just can't be all drawings.
